Our founders

Two founders, one mandate.

The division of responsibility is deliberate. Tokenized real assets fail either because the technology and regulatory architecture is weak, or because nobody at the table understands the asset. Tokenbridge is structured so that neither is true.

Experience

A senior technology, banking and digital-finance executive with more than 25 years across capital markets technology, enterprise architecture and digital assets.

Michalis began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York, building real-time technology for U.S. listed-equities trading and connectivity with the New York Stock Exchange. He went on to senior technology leadership in banking, serving as Chief Technology Officer of Eurobank Cyprus and leading Digital Factory, Core Banking and Business Applications programmes at Bank of Cyprus.

His work now centres on the convergence of institutional finance, AI, blockchain and real-world asset tokenization, and he is the principal author of the Group’s frameworks for tokenized metal reserves, strategic-resource financing and sovereign infrastructure.

Selected achievements

Built and led major elements of the Bank of Cyprus Digital Factory — over 150 professionals across five countries, delivering more than 30 digital, AI and automation products in approximately 18 months.
As Chief Technology Officer of Eurobank Cyprus, established the bank’s technology infrastructure and digital capabilities from the ground up.
Led the technical implementation of a new Core Banking platform at Emporiki Bank Cyprus.
At Goldman Sachs, implemented a pioneering wireless mechanism for transmitting orders between the Goldman Sachs trading environment and the New York Stock Exchange.
Winner, MIT 1K Competition; First Prize, University of Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition.

Experience

A senior executive and entrepreneur with a track record spanning strategic investment, government, infrastructure, energy, maritime, logistics and international business, originating and securing major strategic investments from world-class corporations.

Constantinos previously served as a Senior Advisor to governments, where he worked across major national and international initiatives involving strategic investment, infrastructure and energy. His work included originating and advancing complex investment projects, coordinating across government, international institutions and the private sector, and bringing leading global corporations into strategic projects, including Chevron.

Earlier in his career, he worked with Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, gaining exposure to energy policy, international affairs and strategic infrastructure at the intersection of government and global markets.

Alongside his public-sector experience, he has built and led businesses with international operations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with particular experience in cross-border trade, logistics, energy and maritime ventures. He also serves as a board member in the energy sector.

Capability model

Specialist expertise is assembled mandate by mandate.

Tokenbridge is led by its founders. The specialist capability a transaction requires is engaged for that transaction, from firms whose independence is the point: a reserve report is worth more from an accredited third party than from an in-house team, and a custodian is worth more when it is regulated and unaffiliated.

Technical verification
Reserve and resource reporting under the recognised code applicable to the jurisdiction and commodity — NI 43-101, JORC and SAMREC among them — reserve audit for hydrocarbons, and accredited valuation for built and maritime assets — commissioned from independent firms, never produced in-house.
Legal and tax structuring
Capital markets counsel in the governing jurisdiction, with local counsel on title, concession and licensing, and tax advice on the vehicle and the instrument.
Regulated functions
Issuance, distribution, custody, administration and payment services performed by entities or partners holding the relevant authorisations where those activities take place.
Assurance
External audit, reserve attestation and smart-contract security review by recognised firms, engaged directly rather than through the structuring party.
Placement
Licensed arrangers and distributors appropriate to the instrument, the offering route and the investor base.
